Soccer, once low on North America's sports list, has evolved significantly in the U.S., becoming a universal experience that unites people, inspires national pride, and brings out the best of humanity. As soccer reaches its biggest stage in 2026, we are ensuring everyone has access to this experience, bringing fans closer to each other and the game they love. Everyone speaks soccer, and no matter how they do, it should speak back.
Gamespeak — 2026 World Cup App
The World Cup app was installed 12.9 million times in the U.S. alone during the 2022 tournament and 8.4 million times in the days leading up to it.
It’s a vital connection to the hearts of all those who speak soccer and, for 2026, the app will have more to say — and give fans more of a say — than ever before. New experiences and activations will revolutionize the way they converse with the most prestigious and globally celebrated moment in sports.
Speak Your Soccer
After you install the app, you’ll create a fan profile, and share things like whether you’re new to soccer or a longtime fanatic and what you want out of the game for a completely tailored experience, with real-time stats, rule explanations, discussion forums, and more — all based on your profile.
World Cup X Third Places
Watching the World Cup usually means having internet, cable, or both. And for a massive sporting event that’s supposed to bring us all together through our shared love of the game, this barrier simply can’t exist. So, we’re tearing down walls by painting public murals on them with QR codes that link to free Wi-Fi and live game streams on the World Cup app.
The Inclusive Exclusive Jersey Drop
Service industry workers can’t pay for a ticket and have to work during World Cup matches, which really sucks. To soften the blow (and say thank you), we’re giving them exclusive, limited-edition jerseys made in collaboration with PALACE. Workers will get the distribution details via custom notifications from the World Cup app
Sideline Seats
Even on the sidelines, you’re part of the game. All World Cup ‘26 matches will give 26 fans the chance to watch from the sidelines through live cameras they can control, with their faces projected on small screens across the fields. Fans can enter to win these “seats” through the World Cup app 24 hours before every match.
Speak Up
Women should never feel uncomfortable speaking their soccer. And, in the World Cup app, they’ll be able to give sports bars and other venues safety ratings so that, wherever they watch the match, they just need to worry about the score.
