I remember when my grandfather got kicked out of a funeral for making a joke about the person who died. It turns out I’m a lot like my grandfather. While I don’t make jokes at funerals—I haven't attended another one since—I share his love for laughter and fun. Today, more than ever, I believe that having fun can be a powerful act of resistance, and I can't imagine having a job where I don't get to laugh, play, imagine, and create.
