After the social movements in 2020, conversations about economic and racial inequality became more common. People wanted to celebrate their cultures, build stronger communities, and support businesses that aligned with their values.
So, we started a project that felt right for the times, focusing on our love for food. We believed that staying true to ourselves was a way to stand up against challenges, and we wanted this project to be a kind of protest. Giving people a platform to showcase their culture, highlight our communities' resilience, and share how they navigated 2020's hardships through food.
